Job Summary:
The Business Analyst II is a part of Client Supply Chain Analytics team. This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying our business intelligence solutions across the enterprise. This goal will be achieved by working with cross-functional business teams and utilizing Teradata, Microsoft SQL, Power BI, Python, R as well as other data and visualization tools. This person is responsible for administrative tasks, data model creation, and supporting dashboard and report solutions development. The BI Analyst II will ensure the effective design, build, deployment, documentation and maintenance of relational and multidimensional databases and machine learning models to support end-user processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Support Supply Chain Analytics team in agile projects.
Work closely with business owners, senior stakeholders, and the Supply Chain EDW team to gather, define, and translate data analysis requirements.
Support multiple analytical processes and projects, transforming data and information into business intelligence.
Answering ad-hoc ?What if? or research based questions
Duties (included but not limited to):
Participate in the analysis of multiple aspects of the BI lifecycle from requirements to data analysis, report automation, and thorough understanding of business processes.
Assist in the analysis of BI reporting architecture and report creation, analysis of guided analytics, and other BI solutions.
Ensure a standardized and consistent implementation of data governance, BI, and analytics.
With minimal direction and supervision, act as a subject matter specialist to assist development of the appropriate strategies, plans, tools, and approaches to ensure successful implementation of BI reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
Ensure that data management methodologies include steps, activities and deliverables required to consistently achieve high data quality.
Abstract multivariate and disparate data from internal and external reporting environments for monthly data stewardship activities and monthly (or more frequent) reporting and report updates in multiple reporting platforms.
Respond in a timely manner to ad hoc development and reporting requests
Create Microsoft PowerBI dashboards, and other reporting tools, to facilitate the display of data among non-programming users (consultants, clinical staff, clinical resource leaders, supply chain leaders)
Present data formally and informally and facilitate discussion regarding data outputs.
Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to use data in improving usage and operational workflows.
Provide moderate analysis and ad-hoc operational reports as requested by Group and Corporate leaders.
Demonstrate learning agility by utilizing internal and external training opportunities to cross-train on analytics tools and database platforms such as: Python, Microsoft Power Suite, Teradata, SQL Server, SQL Server, etc...
Collaborate with other internal team members to integrate solutions where additional data is required.
Practice and adhere to the ?Code of Conduct? philosophy and ?Mission and Value Statement?.
Other duties as assigned by the VP of Value Analysis or Director of Supply Chain Analytics.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Pronounced integrity, reliability, and honesty in all work efforts.
Advanced experience in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated oral, written, and technical communication skills.
SQL analysis experience with an understanding of relational database systems and designs.
Interest in exploring new technologies to deliver innovative solutions.
Ability to exercise sound problem solving skills and deliver high value solutions.

Statistical math skills with the ability to work with mathematical and algebraic concepts such as probability, statistical inference and forecasting.
Ability to communicate complex information.
EDUCATION
BA/BS in mathematics, economics, analytics, computer science or related technical fields.
EXPERIENCE
3-5 years professional experience in a technical and/or analytics-based environment required.
Demonstrated SQL experience.
Experience using BI discovery-oriented tools required, Power BI experience required.
Experience in an Agile BI reporting development environment highly desirable.
Familiarity with BI tool architectures, functions, and features desired.

Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in an office environment.
Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people.
Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.
