Weekly Pay! $30.00/Hour Qualifications: High school Diploma or GED Equivalent Completion of an approved training program (2 years minimum) plus two (2) years experience or (5) years experience within an industrial environment in 3 out of the 6 categories below: Industrial Electrician Industrial Mechanic Process Control Technician Pipefitting Electrical & Instrument Mechanic Millwright Must be able to work holidays, weekends and off shifts as required Excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written) that result in action being taken based on clear presentation of the acts Ability to thrive working in a team environment Demonstrated performance of working within safety standards Proven strong contributor with the capability to work independently Responsibilities: The General Mechanic will coordinate, and implement the maintenance activities to maintain the Riverside facility. The qualified candidate will implement the prevent maintenance program, log critical required data from utility equipment, and maintain all equipment on the site. Is an integral member of the plant safety committee, facilitating the resolution of equipment related safety issues. Is an integral resource to oversee hazardous waste by collecting materials, labeling waste, and compacting the waste. Maintains the integrity and records of the regulated equipment, which includes the RTO, baghouse, sprinkler system, backflow preventers, fire alarm, fire drop doors, and Repairs and maintains the paint mills, mixers, totes, cooling water system, Has the ability to safely disable these machines, troubleshoot the defective parts, and re-assemble the machine. Repairs and maintains the building infrastructure, including restrooms, ceilings, walls, doors, gates, and electrical systems. Documents, maintains, and executes the sites preventive maintenance program. Develops and resolves special equipment needs brought up by the operational team. Maintains the spare equipment parts, and purchases replacement parts Certified for testing and recertifying Totes and IBC?s for transportation Executes unplanned maintenance jobs focus on troubleshooting problems with operation equipment / systems and provides support to the plant during emergency/crisis situations. The Mechanic must be able to utilize a lot of different skills, including electrical (VFD's, Control Circuits, Power Distribution), PLC, DCS, Instrumentation, Millright, Pipe fitting, Welding, General Plant Maintenance, and Plumbing | |
