Weekly Pay! $21.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift We are seeking a versatile and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong "handyman" skill set, including proficiency in painting, drywall work, and the use of various tools. In addition to these tasks, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for light maintenance duties, building repairs, and general facility upkeep. This role requires a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Key Responsibilities: Painting and Drywall: Perform painting tasks and handle drywall repair as needed. Tool Proficiency: Utilize a variety of hand tools and power tools, including screwdrivers, hammers, saws, and putty knives, to complete tasks effectively. Building Maintenance: Conduct light maintenance duties and address building repair needs promptly. Floor Cleaning: Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. Recycling and Waste Management: Properly recycle cardboard and plastic materials according to established specifications. Gather and empty trash cans into the trash compactor. Production Area Maintenance: Clean and sweep production modules as required to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines, including the requirement for foot protection. Closed-toe shoes, preferably steel-toe boots, are mandatory for this position. Additional Projects: Assist with various projects such as painting, project cleanup, lot cleanup, ceiling tile repair, fence repair, and any other general building projects as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience in maintenance, handyman, or related roles. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and general construction materials. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting and physical labor.
