Job description Location: Cayey, Puerto Rico Shift: First Shift Job Description:Looking for an entry-level position in logistics? Join our team as a Logistics Technician I - Warehouse and Inventory Control. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient and safe handling, storage, and distribution of materials. Key Responsibilities: Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing mail efficiently. Collaborate with our team to ensure accurate and timely distribution of materials. Handle a variety of inventory, including ambient, cold chain, and bulk materials. Manage essential paperwork for shipments and compliance needs. Work closely with our partners to address discrepancies and ensure quality. Perform routine tasks following established procedures and guidelines. Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to regulations and best practices. Execute ERP transactions and maintain proper documentation. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or college credits towards a degree (Science, Business Administration, or Material Management preferred). At least one (1) year of experience in logistics, inventory control, or warehousing, ideally within pharmaceutical, medical, or biotechnology manufacturing. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic knowledge of MS Windows environment software (MS Office proficiency is a plus). Ability to lift and carry cargo ranging from 25 to 35 pounds. Valid and unrestricted driver's license required. Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP experience preferred. Understanding of basic GMP, QSR, and/or ISO requirements. Proficiency in English for reading, understanding work instructions, and communication. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Physical Demands:This role involves constant carrying and lifting of heavy objects, as well as walking, standing, pushing, pulling, and more. Occasional climbing, kneeling, and reaching may be required. Working Environment:Our logistics operations take place within our facility, ensuring a controlled and secure work environment.
