Weekly Pay! $72.90/Hour As Supplier Quality Engineer Manufacturing Partner you will drive sustaining quality activities with suppliers and key internal customers, setting a high standard with fast response expectations so quality issues are resolved, prevented or minimized. You are responsible for Managing sustaining supplier quality related activities for purchased materials for mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical commodities and sub-assemblies. Such as PCBA, critical components, cable assemblies, battery packs, molded plastics / rubbers, packaging, labeling and services providers. Resolving quality issues via structured quality methods to ensure efficient and effective root cause analysis and corrective / preventive actions that ensure there is no recurrence or occurrence (SCAR process). Executing supplier audits, CAPA?s and monitoring supplier metrics through the SCAR process. Orchestrating Client first article inspection and defining inspection plan requirements that are aligned with supplier?s capabilities, quality history and Client part / device requirements. Supplier performance monitoring and reporting. Defining and driving improvement plans and continuous development in collaboration with the involved suppliers. Accountable for supplier quality risk assessment and mitigation. MRB partner for vendor caused issues, dispositioning defective product via Quality Notifications. APQP plan development, execution, monitoring, and control as part of Sustaining Changes. Support Supplier audit schedule development, execution, and maintenance. Plan and execute supplier audits to applicable standards for example ISO9001, ISO13485 and ISO17025. Support internal and external audits of Client QMS as required. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience Bachelor degree in Engineering Science, like Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering 3+ years of industry experience in manufacturing of electro-mechanical systems/products/solutions for the medical, aerospace, or automotive industries in a similar position / Manufacturing Engineering / Quality Engineering Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes for above listed commodities Works on assignments of high complexity where analysis of situations/data requires evaluation of new factors. Applies judgment in selecting methods and techniques. Effective communicator, resolves problems independently and has the ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional stakeholders. | |
