Job description Shift: Second & Third Job Summary: Are you looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic team in the manufacturing industry? We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team in Cayey, Puerto Rico. As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in our TruCOUNT and FACSCount manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency. If you have a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of experience in a repetitive manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment. Responsibilities: Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment in the TruCOUNT and FACSCount areas. Troubleshoot equipment as needed to ensure smooth operations. Generate labels using label printing equipment. Support the packaging process, including bagging, kitting, and bundling. Conduct visual inspections to ensure product quality. Clean and sanitize laboratory glassware and plastic ware according to established procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and logs. Adhere to safety regulations, ISO requirements, and company policies. Collaborate with the team to meet production objectives efficiently. Replenish packaging supplies and manage materials. Input packaging data into the SAP system and other relevant databases. Participate in training on regulatory compliance and report any concerns to management. Promote a safe work environment and suggest improvements. Actively engage in the Daily Management System, including shift start-up meetings. Make recommendations to improve product quality, reduce costs, and increase production capability. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision. Mechanical equipment and PLC machinery knowledge preferred. Proficient in written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English. Quick learner with adaptability to new tasks and methods. Basic computer skills, including email and office software. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in math calculations and measurement conversions. Familiarity with GMP, QSR, or ISO requirements is a plus. Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential. Willingness to travel to the US mainland and offshore. Working Environment: Indoor work environment with exposure to cold temperatures. Noise, vibration, and potential hazards related to mechanical equipment and electrical systems.
