JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Quality Control Inspector for our client in Corona, CA! Pay rate: 21.00 $20/HR + $1 Shift Differential 2ND Shift - MONDAY - FRIDAY 1:30PM - 10PM Occasional Overtime Hours on SATURDAYS Job Summary: Tests, inspects and audits products at various stages of the production process and receiving. Compiles data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties. Receives incoming materials. Roles & Responsibilities: Coordinates inspections and tests status procedures when material problems arise which are cross-departmental, or requiring special attention for lot segregation or other purposes. Communicates quality issues to the appropriate people to address the impact on our service to the customer and the effects on manufacturing lines. Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with quality leader to determine quality and reliability standards. Selects products for tests at specific stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical characteristics. Records test data, applying quality control procedures. Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviation from existing standards. Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life or material characteristics. Prepares graphs, charts, or data, or enters data into computer for analysis. Preferred Skills: Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills. Computer Skills: Must have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail and other PC application skills.
