Shift: 1st shift position 7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday Pay: $16.00 per hour ~Will Train the Right Candidate~ Training can take up to 12 months depending on workflow Temp-to-Hire Machine Operator Summary- Machine Operators process customers material to required specifications, the quality management system standards required (ISO 9001 standards) and internal process requirements. Continually monitors, visually inspects and measure work pieces to ensure that surfaces and dimensions meet specifications. To train and operate a double disc grinder a candidate must be proficient in math and understand precision tolerances out to .00001", gauging accurately, adapt to changing jobs. The double disc grinders are high production precision grinders with precise control of size, flatness, thickness, parallelism and surface finish. Requiring constant monitoring to ensure conformance to specifications are consistently met. Most cases yield numerous pieces per hour. Requirements: Strong mathematical skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. High Attention to detail. The desire to do precision work, can be fast and very slow paced but is a very repetitive position. Computer proficiency- Working with various program applications and machines. Dependability- Attendance and reliability are mandatory requirements for this position. Good mechanical aptitude.
