Weekly Pay! $44.82/Hour Shift: Days, 5x8, typically within the hours of 0700-1900 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Assignment Length: 24 weeks Required Certifications: NMTCB Preferred Certifications: NMTCB-PET Required Experience: 2 years Nuclear Medicine experience Must be willing to float when needed MUST BE FULLY COVID AND FLU VACCINATED TO BE SUBMITTED - NO EXCEPTIONS General Comments Certifications: Education: Certificate of completion from a formal Nuclear Medicine training program in a degree or certificate program is required. Continuing education credits per NMTCB/ARRT guidelines. Licensure: Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or ARRT. Experience: Five years of experience in a hospital-based setting. Certification/Registration: Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear (RT-N). Must have a current BLS certification provider card or complete a course within a probationary period. Other skills & knowledge: Excellent communicator in written and verbal format; ability to handle complex situations; strong team player Job Summary: This technologist will be staffed in the Nuclear Medicine PETCT area only. They will be handling radioactive material which will include properly receiving, storing, and disposing of this radioactive material. They will be preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients for their exams. | |
