JobsRUs.com is seeking Maintenance personnel for a local Wisconsin Dells waterpark resort. Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs. Reports to Maintenance Manager. Repairs may include plumbing, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, and carpentry. Respond and perform duties in a timely and efficient manner. Knowledge of safety requirements is a MUST- operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times. Assist to oversee the property grounds, public areas, and hotel guest rooms. Display a calm and attentive approach to solving problems and handling difficult situations, collecting information and sincerely helping to resolve them. Determine, communicate, and monitor personal and department achievements and performance standards on a daily basis. Skill-based competencies are required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job, operation of equipment, and adhere to safety practices. The ability to work under limited supervision with other people effectively and with other staff positions is important. Must be trainable and take instruction to learn the position, and work well without constant supervision. Physical Requirements: Must be in good physical condition. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs..
