CorTech is seeking to hire a Selector I for our client in Jackson, MS! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $15.00/Hour Shift Details 1st/Day SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8-5:30 (hour lunch break) Recognize and inspect product quality You must either have experience in working a cold or be ok with this requirement. Able to do simple mathematics (Addition and subtraction) Electric Pallet Jack experience Forklift experience Must be able to lift up to 50lbs individually. Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, selecting the correct products from warehouse racking, and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner. Hand selects orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.), stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations, stretch-wraps product on loading dock, maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, and personal protective equipment, and performs pre and post-trip inspections of equipment. Must follow Client Safe preferred work methods at all times and follow sanitation requirements in order to comply with policy set forth by Client and by AIB (American Institute of Baking). This position requires working until all products are accurately selected and loaded. Essential skills include the ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard, working rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast paced environment, meeting or exceeding established cases per error goals, and developing a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures. Basic requirements include being over the age of 18, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (Bilingual OK, but English is important) as it relates to the job and safety requirements, basic arithmetic skills, and adequate physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Preferred requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Reports to Day Inventory Control Manager / Supervisor. | |
