POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position performs light industrial equipment assembly and repair requiring some precision, the use of hand tools, and small power tools including drills. This person must be able to lift large boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. The position may also perform quality assurance/final prep-like task(s) corresponding to customer specifications and orders. In addition, must be able to perform frequent, but short-duration, laborious tasks outdoors. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Assembly work of all dispensers using standard operating procedures. -Cleaning and refurbishment of return dispensers. -Maintaining accurate records of dispenser parts used. -Unloading and loading of shipments. -Keeping work area, production floor, and ground clean. -Performing inventory preparation and count recording functions for physical inventories. -Responsibilities to include quality assurance to specific customer provisions, reconciling -packing list(s) to internal and external customers, packing and/or unpacking the finished product. -Pick/pack small parts orders as delivered through customer service. -Perform Shipping & Receiving tasks, including verifying counts of received material, matching shipped material, performing quality checks, and storing materials in specified locations. Preferred Candidate Qualifications: -Education and Experience: High School graduate or GED equivalent - Must be able to pass a background Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -Experience using small hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers measuring tapes -Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (based on work needs). -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally -Knowledge of safety policies, procedures, and requirements for equipment. -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. | |
