***NEED PEOPLE WHO CAN WORK ON SHORT NOTICE @ SHIFT TIME STATED BELOW*** Work Authorization: US Citizen/ Green Card Pay: $20.81/hr (Paid weekly) Location: Client is in Batavia, IL Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM Job Title: Warehouse Worker THIS IS WORK ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS. CANNOT GUARANTEE 40 HOURS A WEEK. LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES. Position Summary: The Warehouse Worker - is responsible for safely and efficiently loading outbound windows and doors for residential and commercial use shipments. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently unload inbound shipments of wood products, doors, and related materials. - Inspect received items for damage or discrepancies, promptly reporting any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor. - Complete necessary paperwork and data entry accurately and in a timely manner. - Organize and store products with proper labeling and rotation to maintain quality and inventory accuracy. - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in accordance with safety regulations. - Assist with inventory counts and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely task completion. - Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Qualifications: - MUST WEAR STEEL-TOED BOOTS. - Prior warehouse experience preferred. - Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting shipping labels and documentation. - Strong physical stamina to handle a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. - Able to work as part of a 4-man team for safety reasons. - Willingness to report safety hazards, damaged units, and broken glass to the OF Coordinator. - Demonstrated ability to handle products with care to prevent damage and ensure safety. Working Conditions: - Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying heavy objects. - Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels within the warehouse.
