***NEED PEOPLE WHO CAN WORK ON SHORT NOTICE @ SHIFT TIME STATED BELOW*** Work Authorization: US Citizen/ Green Card Pay: $20.81/hr Location: Batavia, IL Job Title: Warehouse Worker - Inbound Loader Position Summary: The Inbound Loader is responsible for efficiently and safely loading inbound trailers by following proper procedures and ensuring the accuracy of scanning and product placement. The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work as part of a team. ------------------------------------------------ Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Two people are required to move units with handles (>100lbs.). If the handles are removed to maximize trailer cube, you must remove the screws as well. ? Safely and efficiently unload inbound shipments of wood products, doors, and related materials from trucks and containers. ? Inspect all received items for any damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately. ? Accurately and promptly complete all necessary paperwork and data entry related to inbound shipments. ? Organize and store products in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and rotation to maintain product quality and inventory accuracy. ? Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures. ? Assist with warehouse inventory counts and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times. ? Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of daily tasks. ? Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. ? Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager. ------------------------------------------------ Requirements: ? Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred. ? Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment. ? Ability to read and interpret shipping labels and other documentation. ? Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. ? Good communication and teamwork skills. ? Must wear steel-toed boots. ? Must be able to work as part of a 4-man team for safety reasons. ? Must be able to report safety hazards, damaged units, and broken glass to the OF Coordinator. ?
