Job Title: Civil / Structural Engineer Location: New York, NY 10003 Pay Rate: $48 - $60 Onsite Position Seeking a Civil Engineer with a structural background for a long-term position, performing calculations, drawing reviews, and concept development for new installations, upgrades, and construction of electrical substations. Projects include design of foundations, small buildings, equipment supports, and associated structures. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering 2 years relevant engineering work experience (EIT preferred) Computer Proficiency using Microsoft Office and analysis software such as Staad Pro, SAP2000, Mathcad etc. is required Requires knowledge in the design of concrete, masonry, and steel structures. Must have knowledge in the use and application of design codes such as ACI, AISC, ASCE, NYC and NYS Building Codes, etc. Must have the ability to work independently, and in teams, with minimal supervision and seeks to find complete engineered solutions. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate their efforts to others during meetings.
