JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Machine Operator for our client in San Luis Obispo! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $18.25/Hour Shift:Monday - Saturday (2 days off) 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM The Machine Operator will learn to operate bakery production equipment, including ovens, proofers, slicers, baggers, and wrappers. This role ensures products meet quality and food safety standards while supporting daily production. Responsibilities - Load and unload pans, ovens, and proof boxes. - Monitor and adjust oven and proof room temperatures. - Operate packaging equipment and check bags, seals, and slicing as needed. - Verify product weights, order completion, and proper placement on trays and pallets. - Remove packaged products from machines and separate rejected items. - Record production information, downtime, waste, and quality and safety checks. - Monitor for foreign materials and perform metal detector checks. - Follow food safety, food quality, and company procedures. - Report and address potential food safety or quality issues. - Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements - High school diploma or GED. - Ability to read, write, and speak English. - Ability to work varied shifts, any hours, and holidays. - Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, squat, twist, kneel, and reach. | |
