JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Dock Associate for our client in Pendergrass! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $18.00/Hour Shift:11:30a-8ish pm Job Responsibilities - Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. - Use equipment and RF scanners to move, track, and sort packages. - Sort freight accurately by customer and delivery route. - Learn the warehouse layout to find and move freight quickly. - Keep dock areas clean and free of hazards. - Follow safety, security, and inspection procedures. - Work with team members to improve workflow and keep deliveries on time. - Provide friendly, helpful service to team members and customers. - Protect company property and private information. - Follow company policies and all applicable laws and regulations. Skills and Qualifications - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work well with a team. - High school diploma or equivalent experience. - Previous dock or warehouse experience with a record of success. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not supervise other employees. Work Environment Work takes place in a fast-paced warehouse with hard floor surfaces, varying hot and cold temperatures, and different noises and odors. Physical Requirements - Stand for long periods. - Lift up to 50 pounds. - Perform the physical duties needed to load and unload freight safely. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities. Schedule This is a full-time position, typically 32?40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Work hours vary by location and business needs. Evening, overnight, and weekend shifts may be required.
