Pipe Fabrication ? Job Summary This is a hands-on Pipe Fabrication position working in a non-climate-controlled environment that can become very hot. The role involves moving and organizing pipe, preparing pipe orders, operating machinery, and measuring and cutting pipe according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have at least 6?8 months of recent mechanical and machine operation, assembly, or machinery experience. Candidates with backgrounds in automotive, diesel, farm equipment, machinery maintenance, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly are encouraged to apply. Previous pipe fabrication experience is preferred but training is provided. Key Responsibilities Operate and set up machinery used for pipe fabrication. Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches. Thread and bevel pipe using specialized machines. Assemble, sort, stack, and prepare pipe orders. Move loose and bundled pipe throughout the shop and yard. Perform quality checks using tape measures and gauges. Operate powered industrial equipment safely. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Requirements 6?8 months of recent mechanical experience. 6?8 months of machine operation, assembly, or machinery experience. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. Ability to perform basic measurements and calculations. Comfortable performing physical work and handling pipe. Ability to work safely in a hot, non-air-conditioned environment. Fire sprinkler/pipe fabrication experience is a plus but not required. Schedule: Monday?Friday, 7:00 AM?4:00 PM, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch. | |
