This position is responsible for creating and updating technical drawings and documentation for mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic components. You?ll work as part of a team under general supervision, using 2D and 3D CAD software to develop and revise drawings that become part of a technical data package. The role is a good fit for someone with 1?2 years of drafting experience or technical drafting education who is comfortable working with CAD software and has an interest in mechanical, electrical, or electronic design. What you?ll be doing- Create new technical drawings and documents using 2D and 3D CAD software Revise and update existing drawings and technical documentation Prepare documentation for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components Help maintain accurate technical data packages Work closely with the team to ensure drawings and documents meet established requirements Apply drafting, dimensioning, and tolerancing principles to your work Qualifications- High school diploma/GED required 1?2 years of related drafting experience and/or training OR post-high-school coursework in mechanical, electrical, or electronic drafting Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD software Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100 is a plus Mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic design knowledge is preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately | |
