Assignment Duration: Approximately 1 month, covering for a full-time employee who is out. The assignment could be extended, but an extension is not guaranteed.

Must be bilingual in Spanish/English.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position will assist with daily HR activities, employee support, recruitment coordination, onboarding, compliance, and other HR programs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day HR operations and transactional HR processes.
Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
Assist with unemployment claims, exit interviews, leave administration, transitional return-to-work processes, and OSHA reporting.
Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment and staffing needs.
Support the HR Business Partner with employee engagement, workplace culture, and HR initiatives.
Assist with programs designed to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Maintain and track HR compliance programs and documentation.
Prepare and distribute HR communications, including memos, emails, letters, presentations, spreadsheets, and surveys.
Track HR data, consolidate responses, follow up for missing information, and identify relevant insights.
Provide administrative support for meetings, conference calls, video meetings, webinars, and new hire orientations.
Provide general administrative and customer support for HR projects and initiatives.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education

High school diploma required.
College degree or Human Resources certificate preferred.
Experience

2 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources coordination, recruiting, employee relations, or a related HR function.
An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and interruptions.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong business writing and grammar skills.
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Basic knowledge of state and federal employment laws, HR policies, and procedures.
Ability to identify problems and assist with appropriate solutions.
Experience tracking, organizing, and analyzing data.
Ability to conduct training sessions and group presentations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows, and Excel.
Ability to work independently and follow established policies and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.
Physical Requirements
May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or perform other physical activities associated with the position.
May be required to lift up to 40 pounds.
Position may require extended periods of sitting at a workstation.
Close and distance vision may be required.
