JobsRUs.com is seeking an experienced Value-Added Services (VAS) Lead for a 1st-shift warehouse opportunity. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in warehouse operations, kitting, labeling, packaging, light assembly, special projects, or other value-added services. Pay: $19.00?$20.00 per hour, based on experience Location: Hagerstown, MD Shift: 1st Shift Position: VAS Lead Job Responsibilities - Oversee day-to-day Value-Added Services operations from work request through completion. - Coordinate projects involving kitting, labeling, packaging, light assembly, returns, and other special services. - Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and according to established timelines and quality standards. - Lead and motivate VAS team members while ensuring employees are properly trained and prepared to meet operational goals. - Monitor quality and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, productivity, and cost effectiveness. - Coordinate with supervisors, clerks, and other departments regarding project requirements, service updates, and issue resolution. - Help resolve operational problems and escalate issues to supervisors when appropriate. - Monitor VAS performance and identify operational trends. - Support capacity planning to ensure adequate staffing, resources, and infrastructure. - Use warehouse systems and technology to support daily VAS execution. VAS Lead - YL East Physical & Scheduling Requirements - Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime and weekends when business needs require. - Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. - Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the scheduled shift. - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment. - Willingness and ability to travel and support multiple sites if assigned.
