JobsRUs.com is seeking an experienced Fulfillment Lead to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution operation. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on picking and packing experience who is ready to take on a leadership role and help drive daily productivity, quality, and team performance. Pay: $19.00?$20.00 per hour, based on experience Location: Hagerstown, MD Position: Fulfillment Lead Job Responsibilities - Lead and assist a team of approximately 15?20 fulfillment associates. - Oversee daily picking, packing, labeling, packaging, and case-sealing activities. - Assign and coordinate daily work for picking and packing associates. - Monitor quality control and order fulfillment accuracy. - Help the supervisor achieve key performance goals, including on-time shipping, pick/pack efficiency, and employee performance standards. - Use warehouse management software to monitor SKU replenishment levels and coordinate restocking when needed. - Assist with onboarding and training new employees. - Work with other departments to communicate real-time updates and adjust processes as needed. - Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure packaging waste and debris are properly disposed of. The original position description specifically calls for leadership of a 15?20-person fulfillment team, oversight of finished-goods labeling and packaging, quality control, KPI support, replenishment monitoring, and employee training. Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - At least 1 year of experience in picking, packing, bulk warehouse operations, or a related fulfillment environment. - Previous lead or leadership experience is strongly preferred. - Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and manage multiple priorities. - Experience with Microsoft tools and Google Sheets, or willingness to learn. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Detail-oriented and team-focused. - English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred. Physical & Scheduling Requirements Candidates must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime and/or weekends based on business needs; lift up to 30 lbs.; and stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
