Description

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Assembler to support hose assembly, coiling, and pressure-testing operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working with tools and equipment, and able to follow work instructions, drawings, measurements, and quality requirements.

Production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. The company provides 1?8 weeks of on-the-job training, with training potentially extending to 10 weeks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble and process hose products according to customer and production requirements.
Review setup sheets, drawings, tooling requirements, crimp dimensions, and pressure ratings.
Pull components and inspect tubing/hose before processing.
Verify hose and crimp dimensions against drawings and specifications.
Perform pressure testing of hose assemblies.
Create product labels and complete production documentation accurately.
Assist with inventory accuracy and material control.
Monitor equipment and identify unusual sounds, conditions, or quality issues.
Maintain production quality standards and accurate records.
Report equipment, safety, or production issues to the Value Stream Team Lead.
Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices.
Work closely with Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Production/manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Good math, reading, and writing skills.
Ability to follow written instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to remain alert and attentive to equipment and product quality.
Must pass pre-employment screening.
Physical & Work Environment
Standing and walking for extended periods.
Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Requires manual dexterity and attention to detail.
High-noise manufacturing environment.
Work around operating machinery and moving reels.
Steel-toe shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection required.
Must be willing to work mandatory and short-notice overtime.
