Position Overview We are seeking experienced Warehouse Associates with recent forklift experience to support a fast-paced distribution environment. This is a physically demanding, full-shift warehouse position requiring continuous standing, walking, material handling, repetitive lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, reaching, and use of powered industrial trucks (PIT). Candidates should be comfortable performing heavy warehouse work throughout the entire shift and must have recent hands-on forklift and order picker/cherry picker experience. Required Equipment Experience Sit-Down Forklift ? Required Order Picker / Cherry Picker ? Required Reach Truck ? Preferred Electric Pallet Jack ? Preferred Minimum requirement: 1 year of recent, hands-on forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. Essential Responsibilities Pull, pick, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Accurately pack and stage orders. Ensure shipments are processed correctly and on schedule. Unload incoming deliveries. Verify incoming materials and quantities. Receive, stage, and stock inventory. Organize warehouse inventory and restock locations as needed. Perform inventory counts and cycle counts. Identify and report inventory discrepancies. Inspect materials for damage or defects. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and PIT operating guidelines. Equipment Operation Operate sit-down forklifts. Operate order pickers/cherry pickers at heights of 10 feet or higher. Operate reach trucks and electric pallet jacks as required. Follow all PIT safety requirements and operating procedures. Computer Requirements Candidates must be comfortable with: Basic computer operations Internet navigation Basic Microsoft Excel functions Preferred: Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanner experience. Physical Requirements This is not a light-duty warehouse position. Candidates must be prepared for continuous physical work throughout the shift. The position requires the ability to: Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift. Stand and walk for 8+ hours per day. Frequently bend, squat, twist, push, pull, reach, and climb. Work at heights of 10 feet or higher while operating an order picker. Repetitively handle, move, and organize warehouse materials. Attendance & Reliability Reliable transportation is required. Dependable attendance is essential. Candidates are expected to report to work on their confirmed start date and time. Excessive absenteeism, tardiness, or failure to report on the first day may result in removal from consideration or employment. Minimum Qualifications 1+ year of recent sit-down forklift experience. 1+ year of recent order picker/cherry picker experience. Experience must be recent and reflected in the candidate's work history. Warehouse or distribution experience required. Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift. Reliable transportation and attendance. Comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment. Schedule: Monday?Friday, 7:00 AM?4:00 PM. Overtime may be required. | |
