Position: VAS Lead Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 Shift: 1st Shift Location: Hagerstown, MD 21740 About the VAS Team: The VAS team is responsible for outbound operations such as B2B Order fulfillment?Picking and Packing?and other related Special Projects. Your role is to be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of Value-Added Services provided. These services?such as kitting, labeling, packaging, light assembly, and returns management?are designed to enhance the overall value proposition and meet specific client needs. The VAS Lead ensures that these services are delivered with high quality, operational efficiency, and in accordance with agreed timelines. This role requires strong coordination across departments, continuous process improvement, and close communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and alignment with service level expectations. Key Responsibilities: ? Service Level Management -Oversee the end-to-end Value-Added Services (VAS) process, from initial customer requests through execution and final delivery, ensuring seamless service fulfillment. ? Quality Control -Ensure all VAS activities adhere to established quality standards and client expectations, maintaining high levels of accuracy and consistency. ? Team Management -Lead, and motivate the VAS team, ensuring personnel are properly trained, equipped, and aligned with operational goals. ? Process Improvement -Continuously identify opportunities to enhance VAS workflows, driving improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. ? Customer Communication -Maintain proactive and transparent communication with Supervisor or clerks regarding VAS offerings, service updates, and issue resolution. Technical Expertise -Demonstrate deep knowledge of logistics systems and technologies critical to VAS execution, supporting operational effectiveness. ? Problem-Solving -Effectively address operational challenges as they arise, using analytical skills and cross- functional collaboration to drive resolution and bring to supervisors? attention immediately ? Performance Monitoring -Monitor VAS performance, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. ? Capacity Planning -Ensure that Your Logistics East has the resources, infrastructure, and scalability required to meet current and future VAS demands. Basic Qualification: · High school diploma or equivalent required. · Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to incorporate real-time updates and adapt processes as needed. · Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (intermediate level) and Google Sheets, and/or willingness to learn. · Strong multitasking abilities and a team-oriented mindset. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail. · Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish. Working Conditions: -Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime and weekends, based on business needs. ? -Willingness and ability to travel and support multiple sites as assigned. ? -Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without restrictions. ? -Capable of standing and walking continuously throughout scheduled shift hours. | |
