Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, including order pulling, shipping and receiving, inventory, material handling, and customer will-call orders. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a sit-down forklift and cherry picker/order picker at heights up to 26 feet, along with basic computer and math skills. Key Responsibilities Pull, pick, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Load and unload LTL trucks. Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials. Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently. Operate a cherry picker/order picker at heights up to 26 feet. Assist customers with will-call orders and provide professional customer service. Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records. Use computer systems and company-specific warehouse programs. Perform basic mathematical calculations related to inventory and orders. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, secure, and safe. Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling guidelines. Perform additional warehouse duties as needed, including shipping, receiving, pipe yard, and returns-related functions. Required Qualifications Previous sit-down forklift experience is required. Previous cherry picker/order picker experience is required, including working at heights of up to 26 feet. Warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, or material handling preferred. Basic computer skills and ability to learn/use warehouse management systems. Basic math skills. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. independently. Ability to participate in a team lift for materials weighing more than 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Reliable attendance and ability to work a 2nd shift schedule. Strong customer service and communication skills. Schedule: Monday?Friday, 1:30 PM?10:00 PM | |
