Participate in and support mediation and settlement discussions, including matters handled privately and through the court system. Distill complex case information into concise, well-reasoned evaluations and settlement recommendations. Support overall case strategy with a focus on efficient and effective claim resolution. Assist with property damage settlements as needed. Work collaboratively with attorneys, claims professionals, and other internal stakeholders throughout the settlement process. Required Qualifications Admission to the New York State Bar Association. Attorney or highly experienced Claims Suit Adjuster with substantial settlement experience. Demonstrated experience negotiating and settling personal injury claims. Strong experience with premises liability matters. Proven experience evaluating claims, liability, damages, and settlement value. Experience mediating cases in both private and court-sponsored mediation settings. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Ability to provide 2?3 redacted writing samples as part of the evaluation process. Preferred Qualifications Extensive experience evaluating claims exposure and settlement value.
