Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer (OSE) to provide hands-on technical support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments. This is a server hardware and break/fix position focused on diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining enterprise server equipment at customer sites.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers, data center hardware, or similar infrastructure. Experience with Dell PowerEdge servers is highly preferred, but strong experience with other enterprise server platforms will also be considered. Prior AI experience is not required.

In this role, you will install, remove, troubleshoot, repair, and replace server components such as memory/DIMMs, CPUs, power supplies, hard drives/SSDs, RAID/HBA components, NICs, PCIe components, GPUs, fans, cooling systems, and system boards. You will also perform rack-and-stack activities, server installations, cabling, hardware configuration, firmware and BIOS updates, and preventive maintenance.

The Engineer will use hardware diagnostics and server management tools such as Dell iDRAC, HPE iLO, or comparable platforms to identify and resolve hardware issues. Experience with Linux or similar operating systems is required. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers and internal technical teams.

This is a customer-facing field position that requires accurate documentation of service activities, hardware replacements, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Candidates must be comfortable traveling to customer sites, participating in an on-call rotation, working flexible schedules when needed, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on enterprise server or data center hardware experience
Direct experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, or replacing server hardware components
Experience with rack-mounted enterprise servers
Strong hardware troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Experience with BIOS/firmware and server management tools
Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment
Ability to travel to customer sites and participate in on-call/extended coverage
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Dell PowerEdge experience
Dell or other enterprise hardware certifications
Dell iDRAC, HPE iLO, or comparable server management experience
Data center rack/stack and structured cabling experience
GPU/AI server infrastructure experience
Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

Prior AI experience is not required. Strong hands-on enterprise server and data center hardware experience is the priority.
