Job Summary We are seeking an experienced 2nd Shift MIG Welder/Fabricator to perform specialty welding and fabrication work on carbon steel pipe, spool pieces, flanges, and related components. The ideal candidate will have 3?5 years of welding and fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment. This position involves operating a NAP (Universal Welder) and performing MIG welds on carbon steel pipe and fittings. Responsibilities include welding outlets onto pipe, aligning fittings, checking end-groove depth, inspecting welds and pipe for defects such as bad seams or splits, and ensuring finished work meets quality standards. The Welder will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workstation and reporting equipment issues or safety concerns. Candidates must be able to read a tape measure, communicate effectively, work well with a team, and perform basic reading, writing, and computer tasks. At least 1 year of computer experience, including Outlook/email, is required. Company training is completed online through Workday. Requirements 3?5 years of welding and fabrication experience Strong MIG welding experience Experience welding carbon steel pipe and fittings Ability to read and use a tape measure Ability to inspect work for defects and verify proper alignment and dimensions Basic computer skills, including Outlook/email Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow safety and quality procedures Must be able to report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns appropriately Schedule 2nd Shift: Monday?Thursday | 3:00 PM?1:30 AM Friday overtime may be scheduled, ranging from 6 hours up to a full 10-hour shift. Overtime is mandatory when scheduled. Weld Test Required Candidates must complete a weld test during the interview. The interview and weld test will take a minimum of 2 hours onsite. Candidates should bring their welding hood and required PPE to complete the weld test. | |
