WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21 Time: 1:00 PM ? 6:00 PM Openings: 8 Direct-Hire Positions Schedules: 7 openings: 6:00 AM ? 2:30 PM 1 opening: 11:30 AM ? 8:00 PM Position Overview We are hiring Technical Assemblers for a manufacturing facility that produces fuel pumps and pneumatic valves used in commercial aviation and military air and ground vehicles. This is a direct-hire opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy detailed, hands-on work and want to build a long-term career with an established manufacturer. This is precision assembly, not traditional large-piece or production-line assembly. Assemblers work in small manufacturing cells with 2?3 team members, building compact and complex pumps that can contain 60?150 individual components. The work requires excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow technical drawings and detailed work instructions. Candidates with experience as an auto mechanic may also be considered. Mechanical experience can come from professional manufacturing, technical work, mechanical repair, or relevant hands-on hobbies involving small, complex components. What We're Looking For Successful candidates will have experience working with precision hand tools, measuring equipment, and mechanical components. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions is important. Experience with tools such as micrometers and other measuring devices is highly valued. Soldering experience is a plus but is not required. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting problems, and able to work closely with others in a team environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to learn new processes quickly are also important. Long-term employment and job stability are important for this position. Candidates should demonstrate consistent employment history and a commitment to building a career with one employer. Minimum Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and approximately 2 years of relevant mechanical experience, including professional, technical, or qualifying hands-on experience. Experience with small-scale, detailed assembly or mechanical work. Ability to read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve mechanical or assembly issues. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to work effectively in a small team/cell environment. High school diploma or GED required. U.S. Citizenship must be confirmed. Must provide a copy of diploma/GED prior to interview. Must complete a Mandex test and manual dexterity assessment during the interview process. Compensation Starting compensation may range from approximately $19.50/hour for mid-entry-level candidates to $22?$23/hour for candidates with stronger experience. Final compensation will be determined by Parker based on the candidate's interview, experience, education, and qualifications.
