Job Description
The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and distributing materials and parts to support daily production operations. This role ensures materials are available when needed, maintains accurate inventory records, and coordinates with production teams to resolve material shortages, discrepancies, and delivery needs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Review production schedules, inventory reports, work orders, and material requirements to determine the type and quantity of materials needed.
* Locate, retrieve, and distribute materials and parts to designated production areas based on production schedules and priorities.
* Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and carts to safely move materials throughout the facility.
* Maintain accurate inventory records of materials and parts received, stocked, transferred, and distributed.
* Perform routine inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory levels.
* Receive incoming materials and inspect shipments for correct part numbers, quantities, labeling, and visible damage.
* Identify and report discrepancies, damaged materials, missing parts, or improperly labeled items to the appropriate supervisor.
* Monitor material availability and communicate shortages, delays, and overdue materials to department supervisors and production personnel.
* Compare work orders or production requirements with materials being used at workstations to ensure the correct parts and materials are provided.
* Maintain organized storage areas and ensure materials are properly identified and stored.
* Enter and maintain inventory, production, material movement, and other warehouse records using computer systems or manual documentation.
* Assist with tracking the status of material orders and coordinating deliveries to production areas.
* Deliver materials to designated work areas or other facility locations as needed.
* Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work environment.
* Perform other warehouse, inventory, and material-handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Previous warehouse, inventory, material handling, manufacturing, or production support experience preferred.
* Ability to read and understand production schedules, work orders, inventory reports, and basic material documentation.
* Basic computer skills and ability to enter and retrieve inventory information.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials and maintaining records.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.
* Forklift experience or certification preferred.
* Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with production and warehouse teams.

Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
* Ability to safely move materials and parts using appropriate material-handling equipment.
* Ability to lift and carry materials as required by the position.
* Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and follow required safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment and may require frequent interaction with production personnel, supervisors, and other warehouse employees. The Warehouse Attendant must be able to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy, organization, and safety.
