Counter Sales Representative / Warehouse Associate Schedule: Monday?Friday, 7:30 AM?4:00 PM Position Summary: We are seeking a Counter Sales Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for customers at a retail parts/supply location while also assisting with daily warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, sales, order processing, inventory, and warehouse responsibilities. Must-Haves 6 months?1 year of basic computer experience Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable working in both a sales counter and warehouse environment Willingness to learn products, systems, and processes Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Greet walk-in customers, contractors, and other customers professionally. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions. Process orders, quotes, returns, and sales transactions accurately. Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently. Support branch sales goals through product knowledge and customer engagement. Warehouse Operations Pick, pack, and prepare orders for pickup or delivery. Load and unload trucks safely. Receive and verify incoming shipments. Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory. Assist with cycle counts and inventory management. Ensure orders are accurately filled and ready on time. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Preferred Experience Hardware or home improvement retail Counter sales or wholesale distribution Plumbing, HVAC, or electrical supply Construction Warehouse/material handling Retail customer service Forklift experience Local market/product knowledge Ideal Candidate Profile Look for someone who is customer-focused but comfortable getting their hands dirty. The candidate should be able to transition easily between helping a contractor at the counter, entering an order into the computer, pulling products from the warehouse, and helping load a truck. | |
