Description

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Content Strategist to support the Marketing, Digital & Creative Services team on a variety of digital content and web-based projects.

This role will focus on managing and improving digital editorial content, developing clear and engaging messaging, and helping customers more easily access business programs and incentives through the company website. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong writer, detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about creating customer-focused digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Manage digital editorial content on oru.com, with a focus on improving qualification screening and making business programs and incentives easier to access.
Develop messaging strategies for qualification screening and informational webpages.
Test and launch key website features and coordinate related change-management communications.
Collaborate with UX designers and internal stakeholders to develop and promote products and services through dedicated landing pages.
Translate complex concepts into concise, easy-to-scan, engaging copy that is appropriate for the intended audience and digital channel.
Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate clean energy programs, including:
Energy efficiency
E-mobility
Targeted demand management
Champion a mobile-first approach to digital content and advocate for accessibility.
Maintain consistent editorial and design standards across digital experiences.
Advocate for the customer and promote a clear, unified approach to digital strategy and problem-solving.
Contribute to and maintain project plans.
Adapt content strategies and priorities as business needs and project requirements evolve.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of professional and relevant writing experience.
Experience creating and publishing web-based content.
Strong understanding of digital content strategy and editorial best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with UX designers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Strategic thinker with the ability to simplify complex information for customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Google Analytics.
Experience working with a CMS such as Sitecore or SharePoint.
Experience with digital accessibility and mobile-first content practices.
Experience working in marketing, communications, digital strategy, or a related environment.
Software/Technical Skills

Experience with the following tools is preferred or required based on project needs:

Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft PowerPoint
Adobe Acrobat
Figma
Workfront
Google Analytics
CMS platforms such as Sitecore or SharePoint
Education

Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.

Additional Information

This is a part-time contract opportunity designed to provide project support. The anticipated schedule is approximately 20 hours per week, and the position is not currently expected to convert to a full-time role.

Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while remaining available during Eastern Standard Time for required project meetings.
