A manufacturing and metal shop in Montebello is hiring a reliable Janitor / Landscape Maintenance Worker to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of the facility. Schedule: Tuesday?Saturday Start Time: 6:00 AM Pay: $24/hour Responsibilities: Clean and maintain shop floors, workstations, restrooms, and break areas. Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, including the removal of oil, grease, and coolant spills. Safely dispose of metal shavings, scrap materials, and industrial waste. Empty trash and recycling containers. Clean machinery exteriors and surrounding areas. No machine operation is required. Maintain cleaning-supply inventory and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be restocked. Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines. Operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and industrial vacuums. Perform general exterior facility upkeep, including occasional hedge trimming and grounds maintenance. Use ladders or step ladders when required to safely perform assigned cleaning or maintenance duties. Complete assigned duties in a timely and productive manner. Assist with general facility upkeep as needed. Qualifications: The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift while completing assigned responsibilities efficiently.
