Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Assembler 3 to join our production team. This role is ideal for a skilled electronics or electromechanical assembler with strong hands-on experience working with microelectronics, PCB assemblies, cable harnesses, soldering, mechanical assembly, and high-voltage testing. The successful candidate will work with limited supervision while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, productivity, and precision. Key Responsibilities Perform electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly. Assemble small mechanical components using proper torque requirements. Perform microelectronic, PCB, and cable harness assembly. Solder, crimp, strip, cut, and terminate wires and components. Perform epoxy mixing, bonding, potting, and packaging. Conduct high-voltage testing, including testing up to 12KV Hypot. Work under a microscope for detailed assembly operations. Perform mechanical troubleshooting and identify production issues. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, job travelers, test specifications, and rework instructions. Follow ESD controls and FOD prevention procedures. Identify production bottlenecks and communicate shortages, discrepancies, and production concerns. Maintain productivity and quality standards while completing assignments on schedule. Participate in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and report any issues immediately. Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Production Control, and other departments. Maintain accurate production and work-order records using basic computer systems. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 6+ years of related electronics/electromechanical assembly experience. Strong understanding of electronics assembly and manufacturing processes. Experience with soldering, PCB assembly, cable harnesses, microelectronics, and mechanical assembly. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation. Strong understanding of ESD controls and quality requirements. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team. Basic computer skills. U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications J-STD-001 certification preferred. IDC Specialist certification. Experience with high-voltage potting and testing. Experience working with microscopes. Resistance welding experience. Experience with winding/braiding machinery. Tools & Equipment Candidates should be comfortable using: Soldering irons Microscopes Torque wrenches Digital multimeters Hypot/high-voltage testing equipment Wire strippers and cutters Crimpers Heat guns Common hand tools Winding/braiding machinery Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, and use hands for detailed assembly work. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally. Requires close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Why Join This Team?
