Now Hiring: Accountant Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Accountant Analyst to support cost accounting, financial analysis, inventory reporting, and manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong analytical skills and experience with standard costing, manufacturing variances, inventory valuation, and month-end close activities.

Position Details-
Job Title: Accountant Analyst
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $42?$47/hour
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience: 6+ years of related experience

Key Responsibilities-
Analyze and report cost accounting information to support management decision-making.
Analyze material, labor, overhead, scrap, rework, and other manufacturing costs.
Support month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory analysis, and variance reporting.
Maintain and review standard costs, bills of material, routings, and overhead rates.
Prepare financial and operational reports related to cost, inventory, and manufacturing performance.
Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to explain variances and recommend corrective actions.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, GAAP, and applicable financial regulations.
Identify opportunities to improve cost accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and internal controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
6+ years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
Experience with standard costing, inventory valuation, COGS, and manufacturing variance analysis.
Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and present findings to management.
Experience working cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams.
Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is a plus.
