Description

Position Overview-
We are seeking an experienced Assembler 3 to perform electrical, electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical assembly, rework, and basic testing. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent hand dexterity, and experience working with small components and hand/power tools.

Key Responsibilities-
Assemble, disassemble, rework, and test electrical/electronic equipment.
Perform soldering to IPC-A-610B standards.
Prepare and pre-tin wires, batteries, conformal coatings, markings, and adhesives.
Follow blueprints, work instructions, specifications, and procedures.
Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and light machinery.
Maintain a clean workstation following 5S standards.
Support other departments and assist with training as needed.
Follow all safety and company policies.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of related experience in electrical, electronic, avionics manufacturing/testing, OR applicable OJT experience.
Experience with soldering, brazing, and/or simple welding.
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Ability to work with small parts and perform basic mathematics.
Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Must be available for overtime and weekends as needed.
Basic Microsoft Office experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Approximately 90% sitting / 10% standing and walking.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
Frequent fine-finger manipulation and hand grasping.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
Hands-On Assessment

Candidates will complete a 30-minute hands-on assembly assessment using a simple component, written instructions, screws, and an electric screwdriver. The assessment evaluates mechanical aptitude, ability to follow instructions, tool usage, accuracy, and assembly skills.
