JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Production Technician for our client in Columbus, NE! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Pay Rate - $20.50/hr 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 4pm-12am. Can start hours earlier or later Job Description The Production Technician performs routine manufacturing activities, including utility operations, packing, packaging, labeling, and product inspection. This position works under direct supervision and follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and routine manufacturing practices. The technician is responsible for maintaining accurate production records and logs while following FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO 9000/13485 quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to rotate between different tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities Perform routine production functions, including: Utility operations Packing and packaging Product labeling Product inspection Follow established SOPs and standard manufacturing procedures. Maintain accurate records, production logs, and documentation. Follow FDA, GMP, and ISO 9000/13485 requirements. Perform basic math calculations and interpret written specifications in English. Make appropriate decisions within established procedures and position requirements. Support team goals and work effectively with coworkers, Team Leads, and Supervisors. Rotate between different production tasks and responsibilities as needed. Maintain a consistent and punctual work schedule, including flexible or extended hours when required. Follow all safety, quality, and production requirements. A typical day involves reprocessing product, handling parts, inspections, and filing out paperwork. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. A background in quality control and inspections preferred. Soft skills include organization, attention to detail, and good communication. Ability to read, write, understand, and interpret instructions and specifications written in English. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures. Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to learn and develop skills in routine production processes. Flexibility to perform different tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Reliable and punctual attendance. Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours when needed. Work Environment The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a structured, regulated manufacturing environment and following established procedures under direct supervision.
