Shift: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM?5:00 PM Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Important: Candidates must have previous forklift/reach truck certification and be able to successfully complete the required on-site re-certification process. Position Overview Are you ready to take the next step in your warehouse and logistics career? JobsRUs.com is seeking dependable, safety-focused operators with experience using forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, and order-picking equipment. In this role, you will safely operate specialized material-handling equipment to store, retrieve, move, and stack palletized inventory in high-bay warehouse racks. You will also load and unload shipments and perform routine equipment safety inspections. Key Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and other material-handling equipment. Navigate narrow warehouse aisles to place and retrieve products from elevated storage racks. Load, unload, and move palletized materials between loading docks, staging areas, and storage locations. Use RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to record product movements and verify inventory quantities. Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections, including checks of brakes, forks, hydraulics, batteries, and other safety components. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies. Maintain an organized work area and handle products carefully to prevent damage. Requirements & Qualifications Previous forklift/reach truck certification and ability to successfully complete required on-site re-certification. At least 1?2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts and stand-up reach trucks in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment. Experience with order-picking equipment preferred. Ability to safely work at elevated rack heights and in narrow aisles. Ability to stand for extended periods, climb on and off equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and depth perception. Basic computer skills and experience using RF scanners or similar warehouse technology.
