Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Assembler 2 to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations while following established manufacturing instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on electromechanical assembly experience, strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively with small components, hand tools, and manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly operations according to company instructions, procedures, drawings, and specifications.
Assemble small components and parts with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Inspect completed work and, when required, the work of other associates to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
Follow applicable process specifications and accurately record production time and quantity information.
Use a variety of hand tools and light machinery to complete assigned assembly tasks.
Perform basic soldering, welding, and brazing operations as required.
Operate equipment such as presses, sandblasting equipment, and electro-etching equipment when assigned and properly trained.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing requirements.
Identify and resolve routine production issues using established procedures and available solutions.
Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of electromechanical or mechanical assembly experience.
Hands-on experience assembling electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical components.
Ability to safely operate a variety of hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions, work instructions, safety procedures, and company documentation.
Ability to understand and follow drawings, specifications, and established assembly procedures.
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, particularly when working with small parts.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to identify and resolve routine problems within the assigned work area.
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with moderate guidance and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in PCBA, electronics manufacturing, or electronics production.
Experience with soldering, brazing, or welding.
Vocational training, apprenticeship, or technical training in manufacturing, electronics, electromechanical assembly, or a related field.
Experience working in a precision manufacturing, aerospace, medical device, defense, or similar production environment.

Education Requirements-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
