JobsRUs.com is seeking a CNC Machine Operator ? 2nd Shift for a manufacturing environment producing automotive wheel bearing components. This position is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring finished components meet quality and production standards.

Pay & Schedule
Pay: $21.00/hour
Hours: 3:00 PM?11:30 PM, Monday?Friday
Overtime: Saturdays as required
Approximately 2?4 weeks of on-the-job training

Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC and other production machines used to manufacture automotive wheel bearing components.
Start up and shut down machines according to established procedures.
Operate and monitor machines using switches, buttons, control panels, and displays.
Monitor and adjust equipment used in grinding, assembly, broaching, and turning operations.
Load and unload parts and supply components to hoppers, conveyors, and production equipment.
Visually inspect metal components and finished parts for defects.
Measure parts using precision dial indicators, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Use hand tools to replace worn machine accessories, including grinding wheels, finishing stones, and tool inserts.
Troubleshoot machine alarms and take appropriate corrective action.
Observe equipment to identify machine malfunctions or causes of defective parts.
Communicate equipment issues to machine repair technicians.
Record quality inspection results and production information.
Complete inventory transactions using a barcode inventory system.
Safely operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and scissor tables.
Perform routine cleaning and maintain 5S standards.
Follow all environmental, health, safety, and PPE requirements.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Basic mechanical knowledge of computerized machinery, gauges, and hand tools.
General understanding of manufacturing processes, material handling, and quality control.
Ability to read and follow work instructions and inspection standards.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimals.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to respond promptly to machine alarms, lights, and other production signals.
Ability to safely operate powered material-handling equipment as required.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
This position works in a steady, fast-paced manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to moving mechanical equipment, vibration, chemicals, and industrial noise.

Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and handling of materials.
Regularly lift or move up to 10 lbs.
Frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs.
Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Must have sufficient close-range vision to perform required product inspections.
Required PPE may include steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, chemical-resistant gloves, and bump caps.
Must be available for a minimum 40-hour workweek and required overtime.
