JobsRUs.com is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Saw Operator for a manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for unloading and positioning bar stock, setting up and operating saw equipment, and maintaining a steady flow of cut billets while meeting production, quality, and safety standards. Pay & Schedule Pay: $24.00/hour 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM?7:30 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning Friday overtime may be required. Must be flexible to work 8?12 hour shifts based on production needs. Responsibilities Unload bar stock bundles and properly position bars for sawing. Set up and operate the Bar Stock Rack and Cut Off Saw using PLC/control panels. Monitor equipment and maintain a steady flow of cut billets to floor storage. Properly dispose of scrap materials. Perform saw blade and brush changeovers. Complete required quality, production, and daily preventive maintenance (PM) documentation. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards. Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines. Stand and walk for the duration of an 8?12 hour shift. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; training will be provided. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of machine controls. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Basic math skills and strong attention to detail. Knowledge of workplace safety practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work required overtime, including Fridays.
