JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Forklift Operator for our client in Redlands, CA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Pay Rate - $21/hr 2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm Job Description The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of products within the distribution center. Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities) ? Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the WMS. ? Report discrepancies between the inventory count and shipping/receiving documents. ? Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damage. ? Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations. ? Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation. · Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking cases, and labeling boxes. · Palletize orders including scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets. · Processes orders using RF technology. · Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. · May be responsible for dock manifest duties which include scanning completed pallets and running shrink wrapper. · May be responsible for operating the ground/manual manifest station. · Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation. Education and Experience: · High school diploma or GED required. · 1 year of relevant experience, preferred. · Experience with MHE, preferred. Knowledge and Skills: ? 2+ years experience in slipsheet. ? Experience with multiple types of MHE - order pickers, reach trucks, and counterbalance. ? Ability to obtain a forklift certification. ? Ability to read and interpret distribution documents. ? Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner. ? Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills. ? General distribution knowledge. ? Proficient in the use of a PC. ? Strong initiative and drive for results. Knowledge and Skills: · Ability to obtain an electric pallet jack certification. · Ability to read and interpret distribution documents. · Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner. · Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills. · General distribution knowledge. Associate must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have sufficient hearing to safely operate MHE [Material Handling Equipment] in a manufacturing/distribution environment. Work Environment: (if applicable) The noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions.
