Warehouse Associate
$20.00/Hour
2 Year+ Assignment


We're looking for a dependable, team-oriented Warehouse Associate who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. In this role, you'll help support receiving, inventory, shipping, and material handling while working closely with teammates to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.

What You'll Do
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area throughout the day.
Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, and data entry.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials while verifying shipment accuracy.
Move materials efficiently to help meet immediate production needs while supporting long-term inventory goals.
Identify and help resolve issues that could impact production or deliveries using strong problem-solving skills.
Communicate clearly and professionally with teammates, leadership, and internal and external customers.
Follow all company policies and applicable quality, business, import, and export requirements.
Jump in to support other departments with material handling needs when priorities shift or additional coverage is needed.
Help train and mentor new team members when opportunities arise.
Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, shrink-wrap machines, carousels, walkie-stackers, Insta-Pak systems, and order pickers, as needed.
Partner with Leads and Supervisors across multiple sites to support continuous improvement initiatives and help reduce waste through LEAN practices.
Take ownership of your professional development by completing required training and pursuing additional learning opportunities.
Participate in team meetings, review daily goals and performance metrics, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Respond to requests promptly, prioritize tasks based on business needs, and escalate questions when clarification is needed.
Accurately record time worked using the company's time management system.

Willingness to both learn from others and help train teammates.
Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with warehouse operations and best practices.
Experience operating material handling equipment.
Previous warehouse or material handling experience.
Knowledge of LEAN principles or experience improving processes and reducing waste.
Experience using ERP systems and trade or logistics applications.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
