About the Role
JobsRUs.com is seeking an experienced Electronics Test Technician II to support the production testing, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of sophisticated medical device instruments, including flow cytometers. This role is ideal for technicians with experience in electronics testing, electromechanical systems, manufacturing, diagnostics, or medical device production environments. In this position, you will help ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of advanced diagnostic instruments used by healthcare providers and research organizations worldwide.

What You'll Be Working On

Key Responsibilities
Perform system optimization after assembly (laser alignment, pressure adjustments, electrical tuning)
Conduct final production testing and inspections to ensure products meet performance specifications
Troubleshoot system level and subassembly level issues to identify root causes
Repair or replace defective components and document corrective actions
Record test data, plot results, and complete Device History Record (DHR) documentation
Read and interpret detailed test instructions, SOPs, BOMs, work orders, and technical documentation
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to resolve issues and improve processes
Provide feedback on test methods, product design, and production efficiency
Support quality improvement, cost reduction, and new product introduction projects
Assist with updating process and product documentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Complete all required paperwork and maintain training records

Qualifications Required
Associate degree or technical training
3+ years of electronics test or troubleshooting experience
Experience using oscilloscopes, DVMs, and electronic test equipment
Experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems
Strong computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Medical device manufacturing experience
Flow cytometer experience
Laser-based optical systems
Fluidic systems
ISO 9000 / cGMP
Logic analyzer experience
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
