Location: Aurora, IL Pay: $19.00 per hour Schedule: 1st Shift Jobs RUs.com is seeking a reliable and safety-focused entry level Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Aurora, IL. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Perform machine startups, shutdowns, color changes, and formula adjustments as needed. Monitor equipment performance, respond to machine alarms, and troubleshoot operational issues. Training is available. Load and refill production materials, including lifting up to 30lbs. Inspect finished products using tools such as calipers, measuring tape, and digital scales. Record production and quality data using basic computer systems. Band and prepare finished goods for shipment. Reprocess defective materials for reuse. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives. Report production issues, equipment concerns, and safety hazards to supervisors. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Manufacturing experience preferred (2+ years of continuous employment preferred). Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Basic computer skills for data entry. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment.
