Fully Remote Position! 5 Month Contract Pay Rate - $65-75/hr 1st Shift: 9am-6pm EST preferred, must work 8 hours per day and be online during core hours of 9am-2pm PST Job Description We are seeking a manager-level contractor who is also comfortable performing senior accountant-level work when necessary, including preparation of accounting workpapers. Responsible for managing the general accounting function. Responsible for revenue accounting for several business units. Support business partners with any questions and project with a new offering or testing within the systems. Oversees the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements. Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization. Designation of CPA may be required. Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management. Skills and Experience Previous experience in the SAS industry or advertising. Excel Pivot tables Public accounts welcomed but not required, revenue accounting preferred.
