Payrate: $22/hr For a Technician Role Payrate: $18-20/hr For a shop helper (pay base on exp) Summary Statement about Client we are staffing for: Location: Fort Smith, AR Pump Repair & Coating Technician Duechting Pumps North America Duechting Pumps North America (DPNA) was founded in 2010 as a sales office and repair facility for its parent company Dchting Pumpen a family-owned pump manufacturer for 80+ years headquartered in Germany. DPNA is focused on the North American market to supply our extensive portfolio of engineered pumping solutions for the Mining, Power Generation, Sea Water Desalination, Fertilizer, and Chemical industries. Our centrifugal pump technology and proprietary SIConit coating material is designed for highly corrosive and abrasive applications and for the harshest fluid environments. Our Ideal Candidate This is a unique position for a person to rebuild centrifugal pumps and use our proprietary SIConit coating technology to repair various fluid handling components such as impellers, pump casings, agitator blades, and pipes spools. The ideal candidate is someone who is mechanically inclined, thinks outside of the box, and is competent in both technical knowledge and skilled manual application to facilitate coatings. Key Activities and Responsibilities Visually inspect, photograph, and document pump and part upon arrival Use pump cross sectional drawings to disassemble, inspect, and assemble centrifugal pumps with OEM parts Use measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc) to understand the difference between physical part dimensions and OEM drawing dimensions to create a refurbishment plan Use hand and power tools to create non-standard models and fixtures out of wood, plastic, wax, and metal materials to facilitate the application of SIConit coating material Apply SIConit coating material by hand with focus on fine details and quality surface finish to restore part to original dimensions. Requirements/Education: High School, GED, or equivalent preferred Technical certifications (welding, CAD, etc.) helpful but not required ??? Machinist or woodworking experience preferred Experience in manufacturing or repair of rotating equipment preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to perform diagnostic trouble shooting, measurement, data collection, repair, and re-assembly of pumps and components Critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills Oral and written skills to effectively communicate with co-workers, shop staff, supervisors and managers Valid driver license and ability to operate forklifts Ability to pass a drug screen & background check Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth and development Call me at 479-420-1923 Send me your resume at charlesw@jobsrus.com | |
