Machine Operator 2
Pay Rate: $18.55/hour

Shift Schedule (B Shift):
Alternating schedule every other week:
Week 1: Monday thorugh Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (36 hours)
Week 2: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (48 hours)
Includes a 1-hour lunch break
Rotates between 36-hour and 48-hour workweeks

Drug screen required (9-panel)

Position Summary

The Operator 2, Machine position supports manufacturing operations by performing routine production activities including machine operation, filling, packaging, assembly, labeling, inspection, and utility functions. This role ensures products are manufactured according to quality standards while maintaining compliance with FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties
Operate production equipment and support routine manufacturing processes.
Perform filling, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspection activities.
Monitor machine operation and identify basic issues affecting production.
Maintain production records, logs, and documentation accurately and completely.
Follow FDA, GMP, ISO9000, and company quality standards.
Work within established standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Support team goals and production objectives.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors.
Rotate among various tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
One to two years of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or related experience preferred.

Preferred Experience
Experience operating manufacturing equipment or production machines.
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with FDA, GMP, or ISO standards is a plus.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend specifications written in English.
Basic math skills.
Ability to work independently under general supervision.
