Weekly Pay! $20.00/Hour Shift Details : 1st Shift Start Time : 05:00AM End Time : 01:30PM Working days : Monday - Friday JOB DESCRIPTION: Under direct supervision, the Production Machine Operator 1 performs straightforward tasks and operates routine production equipment and machinery. This role supports a safe work environment with a goal of zero accidents and works both independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals while maintaining efficiency and quality standards. Responsibilities: Performs routine setup, operation, and maintenance of production machinery and test equipment. Uses job travelers, blueprints, schematics, models, specifications, and other documentation to perform work. Troubleshoots production equipment and identifies solutions to improve machine performance. Maintains adequate stock of raw materials and performs equipment maintenance according to established schedules. Verifies that production items meet specifications and tolerance requirements outlined in job documentation. Uses hand tools and precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, to ensure product quality. Collaborates with production team members to achieve production targets and quality standards. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Overtime, weekend work, and schedule flexibility may be required based on business needs. Qualifications: Experience operating machinery, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment. Knowledge of tooling and the ability to work with a variety of materials. Experience with lathes, milling machines, and stamping presses. Proficiency with hand tools and the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control. Basic math skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Ability to follow established procedures and perform routine tasks independently. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Education and Experience: Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, combined with work experience that supports successful job performance. Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field preferred. Years of Experience (Required): 1?2 years. | |
